This concert features the wondrous harmonies of the French horn, piano, and string quartet, and is the perfect way to start the new year! Beethoven’s Sextet for Two Horns and String Quartet, and Brahms’ stunningly lyrical Trio for Violin, Horn and Piano in E-flat major, will feature Matt Oliphant and Rachel Velvikis on the French horn. The program will also include Gabriela Lena Frank’s Leyendas: An Andean Walkabout, performed by string quartet.
