Description
Two of the Chicago area’s most brilliant and virtuosic musicians, Matthew Oliphant and Rachel Velvikis, band together in a program that shines a spotlight on the magnificent French Horn. Performing Beethoven’s Sextet for Two Horns and String Quartet, and Brahms’ stunningly lyrical Trio for Violin, Horn and Piano in E-flat major, the horn players will be joined by violinist Eleanor Bartsch and pianist Liang-yu Wang.
