Black Tulip is a multinational ensemble featuring Josefien Stoppelenburg, soprano (the Netherlands), Mirja Lorenz, recorders (Germany), Phillip W. Serna, violas da gamba (US), and Joel Spears, lutes and theorbo (US).
This innovative program immerses the audience in a vivid and dynamic concert experience that explores the complex cultural lives of 17th and 18th century female composers and their audiences. Vocal and instrumental works by Francesca Caccini, Élisabeth Jacquet De-la Guerre, Isabella Leonarda, Barbara Strozzi & others are featured.
Current ticket-holders have several options regarding your ticket:
- Your ticket purchased can be used for the new date of March 4, 2024.
- If you cannot attend in-person, you can exchange your ticket for a virtual broadcast link
- If you’d like to support Chamber Music on the Fox, you also have the option to donate the value of your ticket
- Lastly if the above options do not work for you, we can process a refund in a timely manner.
